Enter a name and the facts you know (when and where they were born, school, work, family, the things they cared about) and this biography generator turns them into a readable life story. It writes only from what you give it, so the result stays true to the person.
What this biography generator writes
It writes a full biography: several paragraphs that follow a life in order, from early years to work, family and what the person is remembered for. People use it for school projects about themselves or a relative, family history and photo albums, tributes and memorial pages, retirement or anniversary speeches, and backstories for fictional characters. For a short profile line on a social account, the bio tools on this site are a better fit.
How to use it
Choose who the biography is about, type the name, and list the facts in the big box. Short notes separated by semicolons work well: 'born 1948 in Leeds; trained as a nurse; moved to Toronto in 1975'. Pick a style (warm, formal, storytelling or simple), first or third person, and a length. The more specific the facts, the better the result.
It only uses your facts
Biographies of real people must be accurate. This tool is instructed not to add dates, achievements, quotes or events you didn't provide, and not to fill gaps about famous people from general knowledge. If something is missing, add it to your facts and run it again. Always read the result and check every name and date before you share it.
Tips for a better biography
Include one or two small, specific details, such as a favourite saying, a hobby or a place they loved: these make a biography feel like the person. Put the facts in rough time order. For a tribute, mention what people valued about them. For a fictional character, add the events that shaped them and the tool will connect the rest.
Questions
Is the biography generator free?
Yes. You can write biographies without paying.
Can it write a biography of a famous person from just their name?
No. It writes only from the facts you enter, so it can't invent or look up details. For a school report on a public figure, research the facts first, then paste them in.
Can I write my own biography?
Yes. Choose 'Me', pick first or third person, and list your own facts.
Can it write a tribute for someone who has died?
Yes. Choose 'In memory'. The tone stays respectful and warm and ends with how they are remembered, based on what you share.
What's the difference between a bio and a biography?
A bio is a short profile of a few lines, often for social media or work. A biography tells the story of a life over several paragraphs. This tool writes biographies.
