Type a topic, an idea or a single word, choose a tone, and this AI sentence generator writes a short list of complete sentences, each taking the idea in a different direction. Copy the one that fits, or use them as a starting point.
What an AI sentence generator does
It turns a topic or a few keywords into finished sentences. Students use it to start an essay paragraph or find a clearer way to state a point. Writers use it to get past a blank line, to draft an opening for a post, or to compare several phrasings side by side. Language learners use the example-sentence mode to see one word used correctly in different contexts. Because you get several sentences at once, it is easier to recognise the one that says what you meant.
How to use it
Enter what the sentence should be about. A short phrase works better than a single vague word: 'why sleep matters for students' gives sharper results than 'sleep'. Pick a tone (simple, formal, casual, persuasive or descriptive) and a sentence type: plain statements, questions, essay openers, topic sentences for paragraphs, or example sentences that use your keyword. Add any words that must appear, choose how many sentences you want, and run it. Run it again for a fresh set.
Tips for better sentences
Be specific about the audience and the point you want to make. If a result is close but not quite right, paste it back in as the topic with a note such as 'make this shorter' or 'more formal'. For essays, use the topic-sentence mode first and build each paragraph around the sentence you choose. Always read the result before you use it, and check any fact it mentions: the tool writes sentences, it does not research claims.
Sentence types explained
Statements present an idea directly. Questions are useful for hooks, quizzes and discussion prompts. Openers are first lines meant to pull a reader into an essay, article or post. Topic sentences sum up what a paragraph will argue. Example sentences show a word or phrase used naturally, which is handy for vocabulary practice and for checking that you are using a word correctly.
Questions
Is the AI sentence generator free?
Yes. You can generate sentences without paying. Signing in keeps a history of your results.
Can it write a sentence with a specific word?
Yes. Put the word in 'Words to include', or choose the 'Example sentences' type to see the word used in several different ways.
Will the sentences be original?
Each run writes new sentences for your topic rather than pulling them from a list, so you get a different set every time. Edit them so they sound like you.
Can it make my sentence more formal or simpler?
Paste your sentence as the topic, add what you want changed, and pick the tone. For longer rewrites the sentence expander and sentence finisher tools on this site can also help.
Does it check facts?
No. It writes sentences, so verify any names, numbers or claims before you use them in schoolwork or published writing.
