Flat lay photos are quick to take, but shoppers cannot tell how a dress will fall or how trousers will sit from a picture on the floor. This flat lay to model AI takes your overhead photo, lets you say whether it is a top, dress, skirt or trousers, and shows the same piece on an adult AI model in the scene you pick. It is made for resellers, thrift sellers and small labels who photograph stock at home.

Turning a flat lay into a worn photo

1. Lay the piece flat from above, smoothed out, with nothing else on top.
2. Upload the photo.
3. Tell the tool if it is a top, dress, skirt or trousers.
4. Choose a model and a scene, press Lift it off the floor, then download the picture.

Say what the item is

A flat lay does not show where a garment sits on the body, so the type you pick tells the AI to put a top on the shoulders, trousers at the waist and a dress at its natural length. Picking the wrong one is the usual cause of a strange result.

Photograph the flat lay well

Use daylight, a plain floor or sheet, and lay sleeves and legs straight. Keep the whole item in frame and avoid shadows across the print. The cleaner the flat lay, the closer the worn version stays to the real thing.

Expect a close match, not a copy

Fabric and print are kept as far as the AI can, yet drape is invented, and busy prints or tiny buttons can shift. Compare the result with the garment before it goes in a listing and say that models are AI-made.

Questions

How does flat lay to model AI work?

You upload an overhead photo of the item, pick its type, a model and a scene, and the AI shows the same piece worn.

Is it free to use?

Yes, with a daily limit on free runs.

Will the print and color stay the same?

The AI is told to keep them. Check busy prints and small details yourself before using the picture.

Can I use a photo with my hands in it?

No. The tool refuses photos with any person or hands in them, so lay the item down and shoot from above.

What file should I upload?

A JPG or PNG under 8 MB, with the entire piece in frame.

Does it work for shoes or bags?

This tool is for clothing. Shoes, bags and other accessories have their own tools on this site.
