Found a picture you want to recreate, or a look you want to reuse? Upload it and this AI image to prompt tool describes it the way image models like to be told: one plain-language prompt, a tag-style version with a negative prompt, and a compact line with an aspect-ratio flag. Copy whichever one your generator understands.

A free image to prompt generator that writes three formats

Image generators do not all read prompts the same way. Some prefer a written sentence, some work best with comma-separated tags and a negative prompt, and some expect short phrases followed by parameters such as --ar 16:9. Instead of rewriting one description three times, you get all three from a single upload, built from the same reading of the picture.

How the AI photo prompt generator reads a picture

A vision model looks at the subject, the setting, the camera angle, the light source and its colour, the palette and the medium - photo, 3D render, watercolour, flat vector and so on. It writes only what it can see. It will not guess at brand names, read text it cannot make out, name real people or attribute the image to a particular artist.

Copy the whole scene, the subject, or just the style

Choose "Style and mood only" when you like the look of an image but want it on a different subject: the prompt then describes lighting, palette, texture and technique with no subject at all. "Main subject only" does the opposite, which is useful for putting the same character or product into new scenes.

Limits worth knowing

One image per run, up to 8 MB. The prompt describes the picture; it is not the original prompt someone used, and feeding it back into a generator gets you something similar rather than a copy. Busy collages and screenshots full of small text give vaguer prompts than a single clear scene. Free runs are paced: if you send a lot in a short time you may be asked to wait a moment.

Questions

Is this AI image to prompt generator free?

Yes, it is free to use. Runs are paced rather than sold, so heavy use in a short window can mean a short wait before the next one.

Does it recover the exact prompt that made an image?

No tool can. Most images do not store their prompt, so this writes a new description from what is visible. Expect a close match in subject, light and style, not a pixel copy.

Which image generators can I paste the prompts into?

The plain prompt works almost anywhere. The tag version with a negative prompt suits Stable Diffusion-based tools, and the short line with --ar suits generators that take parameters that way. FastShot is not affiliated with any of these products.

Can I use it on photos of people?

Yes. It describes clothing, pose, expression and setting, but it never names or identifies the person in the photo.

What happens to the image I upload?

It is used to write the prompt for this run and is not published anywhere.
