Type a name or a line and this cursive translator rewrites it in script letters such as đđžđģđŧđ˛đŋđŽ. Pick regular or bold script, copy the result and paste it into a bio, a caption or a message.
What 'English to cursive' means here
Nothing is translated into another language. The words stay the same and only the letter shapes change. Each letter is swapped for a Unicode script character that looks handwritten. Because every character is separate, the letters sit next to each other and do not join up the way real handwriting does. If you are learning to write cursive by hand, use a handwriting chart or worksheet rather than this tool.
Why this cursive text generator is not a font
Fonts are chosen by the app that displays your text, so a bio or a chat message cannot carry one. The script letters used here are characters in their own right, added to Unicode for mathematics, which is why they survive copy and paste. In the regular style a few letters, including capital B, E, F, H, I, L, M and R and lowercase e, g and o, were added to Unicode earlier and live in a different block. On some devices those letters look a little different from the ones around them. The bold script alphabet is complete in one block and usually looks more even.
Where people use cursive copy and paste text
Script letters suit short, decorative lines: a display name, an Instagram or TikTok bio, a Discord nickname, a caption for an anniversary or wedding post, or a heading in a note. For a full bio to style, the Instagram Bio Generator writes the words first. Keep it brief - a whole paragraph in script is tiring to read on a small screen.
Things that can go wrong
Some apps and older devices cannot draw these characters and show empty boxes or question marks. Some platforms refuse them in usernames while allowing them in display names. Screen readers may read each character by its Unicode name or skip it, and search will not match the styled word to the plain one. Do not put anything essential in script - an email address, a link, a date, a legal name. Numbers, spaces and punctuation are not converted, since Unicode has no script digits.
Questions
Is this real cursive handwriting?
No. It is a set of Unicode characters drawn in a script style. The letters are not joined, and how they look depends on the device that displays them.
Which style should I pick?
Bold script is heavier and easier to read at small sizes, so it is the default. Regular script is lighter and more delicate, but a few of its letters may look slightly different from the rest.
Why do I see boxes instead of letters?
The device has no glyph for those characters. This happens more on older phones and computers. Test the text where you plan to post it.
Can it read cursive handwriting from a photo?
No. It only converts typed text into script-style characters. It does not read images.
Is the conversion always exact?
An AI model converts the text using a fixed character table. Compare the result with what you typed before posting, especially for names. Each run takes up to 200 characters.
