A picture should reflect the property as it is, so any edit that changes the building, the view or the condition of a room is risky and can mislead buyers.

Tips

  • Keep the property truthful

    Do not use background replacement to change a view, hide a neighboring building or alter the sky in a way that misrepresents the property. Many markets expect listing photos to be accurate.

  • Use it for loose items

    Furniture, decor and signage can be isolated and shown on clean backgrounds for catalogs, brochures or staging proposals. Make sure these items are what the buyer will actually see in the home.

  • Get the basics right at the shoot

    Good room photos come from level verticals, tidy rooms and natural light. No background tool can fix a crooked, dark photo, so spend your effort on the capture.
