Upload a product photo. The tool cuts the product out, you place it on the canvas and pick one of the ready-made scenes, and the AI builds that scene around the product. Each scene is written to give the product a matching surface and a shadow underneath, so it does not look pasted on.
Art buyers want to trust the color before they spend money. A painting that looks dull on screen but glows in real life, or the other way round, leads to disappointed customers and returns. Photographing art is also different from photographing objects: light must be even, the camera must face the surface straight on, and glare from varnish or glass must be controlled. Shoot straight on
Place the camera level with the center of the artwork and parallel to its surface. Angled shots make rectangles look like trapezoids, which hurts the credibility of a precise piece.
Light from two sides at 45 degrees
Even light from both sides removes shadows and keeps color uniform across the piece. Avoid a single light, which leaves one side darker and can make textured paint look uneven.
Show the edges and texture
Include a close-up of brushwork, paper grain or the edge of a canvas. Collectors enjoy seeing physical detail, and these photos separate an original from a reproduction.
