Saw an avatar you love in a game, a video or a friend's profile, and want the same hair, hat or hoodie? Upload a screenshot and this Roblox item finder by image lists every item it can see, by category and colour, with three search phrases for each one. Paste a phrase into the Roblox Marketplace (the Avatar Shop) search box, filter by category, and you are usually a few scrolls away from the item or a close match. It gives search phrases, not exact item IDs or prices.

How to find Roblox items from a picture

1. Take a clear screenshot of the avatar, front-facing if you can.
2. Upload it and pick which items you want: everything, hair, clothing, accessories, or the face and head.
3. Press Find the items.
4. Copy a search phrase, paste it into the Marketplace search in the Roblox app or website, then filter by the item's category.

What you get back

A one-line summary of the look, then each visible item with its category (hair, hat, back accessory, shirt, pants and so on), its main colours, a short description and three search phrases. All the phrases are also collected on one line so you can copy them at once.

Tips for better results

Use a sharp screenshot where the avatar fills most of the picture. Turn the avatar so the back accessory or hair shape shows. If the picture has a group, type which avatar or item you want, for example the pants on the left avatar. Add a style word you already know, such as emo or Y2K, because many creators put those words in item names.

Why it gives search phrases, not item IDs

Roblox has no search by picture, and thousands of items look alike, especially user-made (UGC) hair and clothing. Instead of guessing an exact item and getting it wrong, the finder describes what it sees in the words item names usually use, so the Marketplace search does the matching. This tool is not affiliated with Roblox.

Questions

Can I find Roblox items by image?

Roblox itself has no image search. This tool reads your screenshot, names each item it can see and gives you search phrases to paste into the Marketplace, which is the quickest way to get from a picture to the item.

Does it give the exact item ID or price?

No. It cannot look up the Roblox catalog, so it never invents item names, IDs or prices. It gives search phrases that match how items are usually named, so you can find the item or a close match yourself.

Can it find Roblox hair from a picture?

Yes. Pick Hair in Which items, and it describes the hairstyle, colour and length with search phrases like black messy hair or pink twin buns. Hair is often user-made, so try a couple of phrases.

What kind of screenshot works best?

A clear, well-lit screenshot where one avatar fills most of the picture. Screenshots from the avatar editor or a profile page work best. Very small, dark or blurry pictures give weaker results.

Can I upload a picture of a real person?

This tool only reads Roblox avatar screenshots. If you upload a photo of a real person, it asks for an avatar screenshot instead and does not comment on the person.

Is the Roblox item finder free?

Yes, you can use it for free. There is a daily limit on free runs.
