Three ways to make riddles
Riddles about a topic gives you a set on anything, from space to breakfast. A riddle for my answer works backwards: type the answer, such as 'umbrella', and get riddles that lead to it. Scavenger hunt clues turns a list of hiding places into a trail, where each riddle points to the next spot.
Easy riddles for kids, harder ones for adults
Easy riddles use simple clues about things children know. Medium ones need a second look. Hard riddles hide the answer behind double meanings and misdirection, but every clue still points to one fair answer, so solvers feel clever rather than cheated.
Riddles for a treasure hunt or a party
List the places in the order you want, for example 'fridge, mailbox, bathtub, shoe rack'. Write each clue on a card, hide card 2 at the answer to clue 1, and so on. It works for birthday parties, classrooms, escape-room nights and rainy afternoons.
Riddles for D&D and fantasy games
Choose Fantasy / D&D and the riddles come in the voice of a sphinx, a locked door or a guardian, ready to read aloud at the table. Use a hard riddle to stop the party at a vault, then hand over the hint if they get stuck.

Yes. Every riddle has a hint under it and the answers are listed at the bottom, with a short note on why each one fits.

Yes. Choose 'A riddle for my answer' and type the word. Every riddle in the set will lead to that answer.
Can I use it for a scavenger hunt?
Yes. Choose 'Scavenger hunt clues' and list the hiding places in order. You get one riddle per place.
Are the riddles new each time?
