Choose a trainer, a new creature (a Fakemon) or a trainer with a partner, pick a type, a stage and a trainer class, and this Pokemon OC maker draws your character in a bright anime game style. The profile gives a name, a personality, a trainer or creature card with an ability and moves, and a short journey story in a region you invent.

How to make a Pokemon OC

1. Add an idea, like "a Fairy-type fox made of dandelion fluff", or leave it empty.
2. Choose the type of OC, a type, a stage and a trainer class.
3. Press Make my OC for the drawing and the profile.
4. Download, copy, or regenerate for a new design.

Trainer OC or Fakemon?

A trainer OC is a person in the Pokemon world: a rookie, a gym leader, a rival, a researcher, a ranger or a breeder. A Fakemon is a new creature that does not exist in the games, with its own type, stage, ability and moves. Trainer + partner gives you both in one picture.

Designing a good Fakemon

Strong creature designs start from one real animal or object plus its type: an otter for Water, a teapot for Steel, a dandelion for Fairy. Keep the shape simple and the colours tied to the type, and think about how the next stage would grow from it.

New names, fan-made only

Every creature and trainer is invented, with a new name that is not an official species or character, and no official art is used. Each profile ends with a fan-made note: not official and not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokemon Company.

Questions

What is a Fakemon?

A fan-made creature in the style of Pokemon that is not in any official game. Fans design them with a type, abilities, moves and sometimes an evolution line.

Can I make a trainer and a creature together?

Yes. Choose Trainer + partner and the drawing shows your trainer with an invented partner creature; the profile covers both.

Will it use real Pokemon?

No. The tool is told never to use official species or characters, so every creature and its name are new.

Is this an official Pokemon tool?

No. It is a fan tool. Results are fan-made and not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokemon Company.

Can I make an evolution line?

Run it with the same idea and switch the stage from Basic to Stage 2 to Final form. Each run gives a design you can line up as an evolution.

Can I pick two types?

Pick the main type in the menu and add the second one in your idea, for example "Grass and Poison". Types not in the menu, like Ice or Rock, can go in the idea too.
