Saying sorry well is harder than it looks. Too many words sound like excuses, too few feel cold. This apology message generator takes what happened and who it is for, and writes two short drafts that own the mistake, say sorry once and plainly, and offer a way to make it right. Pick a text, an email or a short letter, then change anything so it sounds like you.

How to use the apology message generator

1. Describe what happened, in your own words and with the facts.
2. Pick who it is for and the format: text, email or short letter.
3. Choose a tone and add how you plan to make it right, if you know.
4. Press Write the apology and read both versions before you choose.

What a good apology includes

It names the specific thing, says sorry plainly, takes responsibility without a but, shows you understand how it landed, and offers a repair or a change. It does not ask to be forgiven right away, and it does not explain at length why it was not your fault.

Words to avoid

Avoid if you were hurt, I am sorry you feel that way and but. They turn an apology into a defense. The drafts avoid them, and leave a bracket for any detail you did not give, so nothing in the message is made up.

Send it, then follow through

A promise in an apology only counts if you keep it. Say only what you will really do, send it when you are calm, and give the other person time. The message opens the door; your actions after it do the rest.

Questions

Is the apology message generator free?

Yes, it is free to use. There is a daily limit on free runs.

Will it write excuses for me?

No. It leaves out excuses and blame, because they weaken an apology. It uses only the facts you give.

Can it write an apology email to a customer?

Yes. Pick a customer and email, and the draft comes with a subject line and a short fix.

How long are the messages?

A text is three to five sentences. An email or letter is up to about 150 words.

Can I change the tone?

Yes. Choose sincere, formal, gentle or light, and run it again for different wording.

What if I do not know how to make it right yet?

Leave that box empty. The draft will use a short bracket for you to fill in, or you can add the fix by hand.
